Altcoins include Ethereum, Solana and thousands of smaller tokens. They tend to be more volatile than Bitcoin, and many have little trading volume or a short track record.
Watch out for
Most small altcoins have gone to zero over time. Liquidity and project risk are much higher than for Bitcoin.
