Doji

A candle where the open and close are nearly equal, showing indecision.

CandlesticksBeginner

Definition

A doji has little or no body and wicks on one or both sides. Neither buyers nor sellers won the period. It matters most in context: after a long trend, near a key level, or ahead of an event.

Watch out for

A doji by itself is a pause. Direction is usually judged by the candle that follows it.
