Scanner: find what is moving across stocks, crypto, ETFs and options flow
The Scanner turns a long list of tickers into a short, sorted one. Use PDB's curated scans, or build and save your own, and see a PDB Score, relative volume, RSI, trend and catalyst for every result.
One scanner, seven views
The Scanner has an Overview plus separate views for stocks, crypto, ETFs, options flow, a sector heatmap and a custom builder. Scans are split into PDB Curated scans and your own saved custom scans.
- Stocks: filter by sector, by signal (bullish, bearish or neutral) and by minimum price change.
- Crypto: screen by 24-hour change and volume.
- ETFs: scan by theme.
- Options flow: filter by calls or puts, minimum premium from $50K up to $1M+, and out-of-the-money only.
- Heatmap: a grid or treemap coloured by today's percent change, sized by market cap and grouped by sector.
Every result comes with context
Each row shows price, change, relative volume (RVOL), RSI, trend, options activity, catalyst and signal, plus a PDB Score from 0 to 100.
The PDB Score is a weighted blend of price change, relative volume, options put/call skew, IV rank and nearby earnings. Only the factors a ticker actually has data for are counted, so a missing input never drags a score up or down by itself.
Custom scans: build your own filters
The custom builder combines three groups of filters.
- Universe and price: common stock, ETF, ADR or index, a price range and today's percent change.
- Options activity: an IV rank range, minimum market cap, put/call ratio, net premium, call and put volume, and an S&P 500 only switch.
- Fundamentals (Gold): P/E ratio, gross margin and year-over-year revenue growth to narrow the list further.
- Sort and export: sort results by IV rank, percent change, market cap, put/call ratio, net premium or volume, and export the results.
From a scan to deeper research
A scan is where research starts. Once a ticker catches your eye, the Research Hub covers its fundamentals, news and seasonality, and the Options Hub covers its options flow, gamma exposure and trade setups.

Questions
What is relative volume (RVOL)?
Relative volume compares today's trading volume with the stock's usual volume for the same time of day. A value well above normal means the stock is attracting unusual attention.
What is the PDB Score?
The PDB Score runs from 0 to 100. It blends price change, relative volume, options put/call skew, IV rank and nearby earnings, and it only counts factors the ticker has data for. It is a way to sort a long list, not a rating or a recommendation.
Can I save my own scans?
Yes. Build a scan in the custom builder, save it, and it appears under My Custom Scans next to the PDB Curated scans.
Does the Scanner cover crypto and ETFs?
Yes. There are separate crypto and ETF scanners, and the heatmap and options flow views sit alongside the stock scanner.
Which plan includes the Scanner?
The Scanner is included with the Gold plan. See the pricing page for current plans and prices.
More PrintDemBandz tools
Options Hub
The Options Hub brings options flow, dealer gamma exposure, an options scanner and a payoff-diagram trade builder together, so you can go from an unusual print to a defined trade without switching tabs.
GoldResearch Hub
Eight research tools share one search box, so you stop retyping the same symbol across tabs. Search a ticker in one tool and the others open already on it.
Silver and GoldSmart Money
Smart Money collects four kinds of large-player activity that are normally spread across separate filings and feeds, and lets you look up a ticker, a politician or an institution in seconds.
